Job Title: Depot and Sales Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Depot and Sales Manager to join our team at Lynch Meeting Hire Demands. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our depot, while also developing and implementing a sales strategy to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to depot staff, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service and meet business objectives.
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with business goals, focusing on quality and profitable new business.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of sales, profits, stock availability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance and depot operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a sales or operations management role, preferably in the construction or plant hire industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business growth.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
