Our client, a prestigious education institution, is seeking an administrative assistant to join their team on a fixed-term contract basis. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the admissions team, ensuring the smooth operation of the admissions process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and staff, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the admissions team in processing applications, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of open mornings, entrance assessments, and taster days, ensuring seamless execution and excellent student experience.
  • Review and process applications for admissions, ensuring timely and accurate decision-making.
  • Liaise with academic staff to organize meetings with prospective parents, promoting a positive and engaging experience.
  • Maintain accurate records in the student information system and other databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Communicate admissions decisions to students and provide support throughout the enrolment process, ensuring a smooth transition.

Person Specification:

  • Well-developed organizational skills and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals and teams.
  • Relationship-building skills, to work with others and convert initial enquiries into successful enrolments.
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Portable Enhanced DBS desirable, but not essential.
