About the Role

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join our Highways Team at Team Aaa. As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in assisting the project surveyor to carry out quantity surveying duties and provide effective financial and contractual control on all contracts allocated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the project surveyor in carrying out quantity surveying duties, including financial and contractual control on all contracts allocated.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure that all contracts are managed effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide support to the project surveyor in the preparation of tender documents, contract administration, and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities.

Requirements

  • BSc or HND (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or other equivalent commercially related subject.
  • Preferably qualified to CIOB or RICS accreditation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
