Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Head of Regulatory Reporting, you will play a crucial role in executing the regulatory reporting Policy Standard, along with the associated controls across Paragon Banking Group Plc. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the development and upkeep of the regulatory reporting framework for the Bank and the broader Group, ensuring the complete, accurate, and timely submission of all regulatory returns.
  • Keeping abreast of the regulatory reporting requirement landscape to ensure that the reporting suite remains current and supports ongoing developments.
  • Aiding the business in assessing the implications of new regulations on existing and proposed activities.
  • Reporting to relevant stakeholders regarding the performance of the regulatory reporting Policy Standard.
  • Collaborating with Group stakeholders to ensure clarity in requirements and responsibilities.
  • Maintaining the procedures, interpretation documents, and policies that underpin the regulatory reporting Policy Standard.
  • Partnering with second and third lines to ensure the robustness of the reporting framework.
Working Hours

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, office-based.

About You

Essential Skills and Knowledge
  • Prior experience in financial services, particularly within a regulatory reporting team, is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks to meet critical deadlines.
  • Confidence in analyzing and presenting complex information to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Capacity to assimilate and apply new information, processes, and training.
  • Strong communication skills for both written and verbal reporting, with the ability to present in group settings.
  • Commitment to delivering and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Openness to change and the ability to influence and motivate others.
