Procurement Coordinator

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 based on experience

Aspion Search is proud to represent a prominent player in the metals sector, currently in search of a meticulous and proactive Procurement Coordinator to enhance their vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in facilitating the efficient functioning of the procurement division, ensuring robust communication with vendors, sales personnel, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and manage orders throughout the day, guaranteeing prompt delivery of goods.
  • Maintain and update the database with precise information from a diverse range of suppliers.
  • Collaborate effectively with the sales department and inventory team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Engage with suppliers, follow up on orders, and confirm timely arrival of materials.
  • Process orders, oversee shortages, and input data into the system to ascertain order values.
  • Conduct weekly inventory replenishments and manage online orders.
  • Examine shortage reports daily and address stock orders as necessary, while efficiently handling additional tasks.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to monitor and expedite orders and materials.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities.
  • Confidence in engaging with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
  • Prior experience in a procurement or administrative capacity is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work autonomously and respond promptly to evolving demands.

Employee Benefits:

  • Standard working hours from 08:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings.
