Position: Procurement Coordinator

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: £22,000 - £24,000 based on experience

Aspion, a prominent player in the metals sector, is on the lookout for a meticulous and proactive Procurement Coordinator to enhance their vibrant team.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in facilitating the efficient functioning of the procurement division, ensuring robust communication with vendors, sales personnel, and the logistics team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and manage orders throughout the day, guaranteeing prompt delivery of goods.
  • Collaborate effectively with the sales department and logistics to ensure smooth operations.
  • Process orders, oversee shortages, and enter data into the system to ascertain order values.
  • Conduct weekly inventory replenishments and manage online orders.
  • Examine shortage reports daily and address stock orders as necessary, while efficiently handling additional tasks.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a procurement or administrative capacity is advantageous but not mandatory. The ability to work autonomously and respond swiftly to evolving demands is essential.

Working Hours: 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday / 08:00 - 11:00 every 8 Saturdays.

Benefits: 22 days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays, with an option to purchase an additional 3 days. Company pension scheme available.
