About the Role
The Conservation Volunteers is seeking a highly organized and people-focused individual to support the success of the John Muir Way project. As the People and Admin Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the project, working closely with the Operations Leader, Greenskills Officers, and the Central Services People Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate training schedules and attendance records for trainees
- Collate training logs and evidence for funders and partners
- Manage the onboarding process for new trainees, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles
- Support recruitment by posting job ads, arranging interviews, and conducting reference checks
- Oversee the accurate maintenance of trainee records, feedback, and any arising issues
Requirements
- Strong organizational abilities and excellent communication skills
- Experience in a people-focused role, such as HR, training, or community engagement
- A genuine interest in others' well-being and a passion for Scotland's natural heritage
