Paediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist to lead our Children's Epilepsy Service team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist nursing advice and support to patients and families, in-patient and out-patient, throughout their care pathway.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Children's Epilepsy Service team, providing clinical expertise, leadership, education, and management to ensure a seamless service for patients, carers, and staff.
- Provide advice, support, and information from the time of diagnosis and throughout the care pathway, working closely with the Neuroscience multidisciplinary team in hospital and the community.
- Develop, strengthen, and lead our Epilepsy team, providing a robust service to children and families both in hospital and in the local community.
- Work closely with our team of friendly paediatric neurologists and paediatricians to ensure that children receive a seamless, quality service.
- Contribute to the development of the children's epilepsy care pathway and transition service, working closely with community services.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a strong background in Paediatric Neurology or a related field.
- Proven leadership and management experience, with the ability to lead and manage a team.
- Excellent clinical expertise, with a strong understanding of epilepsy and its management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
