Portfolio HR & Reward is seeking a skilled HR and Recruitment Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the starters and leavers administration process, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Issue changes to contracts, verify signatures, and maintain records.
  • Ensure colleague data is up-to-date, and relevant documents are issued and uploaded to the system.
  • Organize and maintain colleague files, ensuring documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
  • Prepare and send probation invitation letters and extensions, as required.

Recruitment Coordination:

  • Develop and post job advertisements on relevant platforms, adhering to council branding and accessibility standards.
  • Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates against job requirements and council values.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide guidance on best practices for interviewing and selection.
  • Schedule and facilitate interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience and adherence to recruitment policies.
  • Conduct reference checks and present job offers to selected candidates.
