Youth Support Specialist

Lancashire County Council is seeking a skilled Youth Worker to join our Children and Family Wellbeing Service. As a key contributor to the prevention and early intervention agenda, this role will play a vital part in ensuring young people receive the support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the delivery of youth work opportunities in various settings, including youth clubs and schools.
- Develop and maintain relationships with young people, particularly those with vulnerabilities, to provide targeted support and guidance.
- Design and deliver youth work responses underpinned by the 4 cornerstones of youth work: equality, participation, education, and empowerment.
- Work collaboratively with other youth work staff and volunteers to maximize opportunities for young people.
- Nationally recognized JNC qualification for Youth and Community Workers.
- Excellent communication, organization, and IT skills.
- Ability to establish positive relationships with diverse groups of young people and partners.
- Flexibility to respond to changing priorities and needs.
