Salary and Benefits: Competitive salary range of £75,000-£90,000 with potential for an annual bonus of 30-60%, comprehensive private medical coverage, 38 days of annual leave, a 10% non-contributory pension scheme, life assurance, career break options, income protection, and volunteering days.

We are excited to present a remarkable opportunity within our newly established Commercial Partnerships division for a Senior Manager specializing in Analytics and Insights.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will leverage data analytics to enhance procurement strategies, drive operational efficiency, and foster innovation. Responsibilities include collecting, analyzing, and interpreting procurement data to uncover trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and pinpoint areas for enhancement. The role serves as the primary liaison between Finance and Strategy departments, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting of all third-party savings. Additionally, the Senior Manager will lead a team and oversee cross-functional groups to achieve outstanding outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management: Establish and maintain robust systems for the collection and storage of procurement data, ensuring precision, completeness, and accessibility. This includes the verification, tracking, and reporting of all third-party savings.

Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools to derive insights, generate comprehensive reports, and present findings to senior leadership to support informed decision-making.

Trend Analysis: Continuously monitor and assess market trends, supplier performance, and procurement processes to discover improvement opportunities and mitigate risks.

Cost Reduction: Employ data-driven strategies to identify potential cost savings and enhance efficiency within the procurement function.

Supplier Management: Evaluate supplier performance data to manage relationships, renegotiate contracts as necessary, and promote ongoing improvements.

Strategy Development: Contribute to the strategic planning process by offering data-informed insights and recommendations.

Compliance and Governance: Ensure that procurement data practices adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, such as Finance and Operations, to align procurement strategies with broader organizational objectives.

Technology Implementation: Spearhead the selection and deployment of procurement technologies and tools that enhance data analysis capabilities.

Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of data analysts or specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Desired Qualifications:

Proven leadership and management capabilities with a history of guiding teams through transitions.

Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-centric approach to decision-making.

Excellent numerical proficiency.

Familiarity with contracting models, commercial terms, and the confidence to negotiate them.

Understanding of financial services regulations.

Experience with procurement tools and systems.
