About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Plant Construction & Commissioning Engineer to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our Nuclear New Build business, you will play a critical role in supporting major stakeholders in the nuclear sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering support to clients during the construction phase of new nuclear power stations.
  • Develop and deliver a pipeline of work to support the growth and deployment of capable staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation and regulations.
  • Travel to client sites across the UK to support commissioning and start-up activities.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in construction or operational support activities, including operational roles and/or operational support roles at operational nuclear power plants.
  • Experience in the construction, commissioning, pre-operational or operational environments with a strategic awareness of international best practice and operational focus.
  • Ability to apply a mixture of technical and operational expertise to develop the right skills in our teams.
  • Strong safety culture commensurate with nuclear and high hazard industry standards.
