About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Plant Construction & Commissioning Engineer to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our Nuclear New Build business, you will play a critical role in supporting major stakeholders in the nuclear sector.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide engineering support to clients during the construction phase of new nuclear power stations.
  2. Develop and deliver a pipeline of work to grow and deploy capable staff as clients' projects move from construction through commissioning and pre-operations into operations.
  3. Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation and regulations, maintaining a strong safety culture commensurate with nuclear and high-hazard industry standards.
  4. Travel to client sites across the UK to support project delivery and commissioning activities.
Requirements
  1. Previous experience in operational roles and/or operational support roles at operational nuclear power plants or highly regulated industries.
  2. Experience in construction, commissioning, pre-operational, or operational environments with a strategic awareness of international best practice and operational focus.
  3. Ability to apply a mixture of technical and operational expertise to develop the right skills in our teams to support clients in the latter stages of major nuclear new build projects and into the operational phases.
