Join Our Team as a Field Archaeologist

We are seeking a skilled Field Archaeologist to join our team at Wardell Armstrong LLP, a leading environmental consultancy with a strong presence in the UK. As a Field Archaeologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our growing portfolio of projects in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct archaeological fieldwork on various sites, including large-scale evaluations and excavations.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of commercial archaeology practices and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of our team's expertise and knowledge in archaeological fieldwork.

Requirements:

  • At least three months of site experience in commercial archaeology.
  • A degree in archaeology or equivalent experience.
  • A valid driving license.
  • CIfA membership at PCIfA level (desirable).
