Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Archaeological Field Specialist to join our team at Wardell Armstrong LLP. As a Field Archaeology Professional, you will be responsible for conducting archaeological fieldwork, including excavations and evaluations, to support our growing portfolio of projects in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct archaeological fieldwork, including excavations and evaluations, to identify and record cultural and historical resources.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and community groups to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in archaeological fieldwork.
  • Contribute to the development of project reports, proposals, and other documentation as required.

Requirements:

  • Three months of practical experience in archaeological fieldwork, including excavations and evaluations.
  • A degree in archaeology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driving license.
  • CIfA membership at PCIfA level (desirable).
