Position Overview

The role involves taking ownership of client rate management within a global framework. This position requires a proactive approach to establishing and evaluating policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency of maintenance and delivery processes. You will oversee daily service delivery to the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute the processes for the establishment, upkeep, and application of rates to files within the UK.
  • Facilitate broader data and process enhancement initiatives from a rates perspective.
  • Provide training, support, and guidance to both finance and non-finance teams regarding the procedures for implementing, maintaining, and applying rates to UK files.
  • Oversee and prioritize the workload of the rate maintenance team in the UK, assisting with:
  • Monitoring and addressing internal requests for updates to existing pricing models and implementing new pricing models as necessary.
  • Transforming agreed contractual pricing arrangements into rate exception groups for use in the Elite 3E finance system.
  • Identifying, prioritizing, and reviewing existing rate cards that are due for re-negotiation.
  • Proposing practical methods for integrating complex contractual pricing arrangements into the Elite 3E finance system.
  • Support and assist other members of the Finance team with rate management and maintenance tasks.
  • Exhibit teamwork and leadership capabilities, along with self-motivation, and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with legal finance and billing systems (experience with Elite Enterprise or 3E is advantageous).
  • Understanding of the legal file inception, billing, and rate management processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills (with internal teams, partners, and clients).
  • Ability to work autonomously, resolve issues, and demonstrate initiative.
  • Capability to investigate and propose solutions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
