Position Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee client rate management for the global organization. This includes proactively establishing and evaluating policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency of maintenance and service delivery. You will be responsible for the daily operational management of rate services within the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the procedures for the establishment, upkeep, and application of rates to files across the UK.
  • Facilitate broader data and process enhancement initiatives from a rates perspective.
  • Provide training, support, and guidance to both finance and non-finance teams regarding the processes for implementing, maintaining, and applying rates to UK files.
  • Oversee and prioritize the workload of the rate maintenance team in the UK, assisting with:
  • Monitoring and addressing internal requests for updates to existing pricing models and implementing new pricing structures as necessary.
  • Transforming agreed contractual pricing arrangements into rate exception groups for integration into the Elite 3E finance system.
  • Identifying, prioritizing, and reviewing existing rate cards that are due for re-negotiation.
  • Recommending effective methods for integrating complex contractual pricing arrangements into the Elite 3E finance system.
  • Support and assist other finance team members with rate management and maintenance tasks.
  • Exhibit teamwork and leadership capabilities, alongside self-motivation and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with legal finance and billing systems (experience with Elite Enterprise or 3E is advantageous).
  • Understanding of the legal file inception, billing, and rate management processes.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both internally and with clients.
  • Ability to work autonomously, resolve issues, and demonstrate initiative.
  • Capability to investigate and propose solutions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong focus on customer service.
