Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our team at Rec Sense Recruitment. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of our clients' internal audit processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Manage Audit Assignments
    • Plan, execute, and control internal audit assignments to ensure high-quality results within required timescales and budgets.
    • Manage and supervise more junior staff on individual assignments, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and Implement Audit Plans
    • Develop and implement audit plans that align with our clients' risk management objectives.
    • Identify and assess key risks and controls, and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide Technical Guidance and Support
    • Provide technical guidance and support to team members on audit planning, execution, and reporting.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in internal audit.
  • Communicate Effectively
    • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure clear understanding of audit objectives, scope, and results.
    • Prepare and present audit reports and findings to clients and management.
  • Continuously Improve Audit Processes
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in internal audit.

Requirements

  • Professional Qualifications
    • A relevant professional qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, IIA, or CIMA.
  • Experience
    • At least 3 years of experience in internal audit, with a strong background in audit planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
