Salary: c.£53k + annual bonus

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our team. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for leading and managing internal audit assignments, identifying and assessing risks, and providing recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage internal audit assignments to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Identify and assess risks associated with business processes and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and implement audit plans to ensure that audits are conducted in accordance with our Internal Audit standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Communicate audit findings to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in internal auditing.
Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, IIA or CIMA).
  • Proven experience in internal auditing, preferably in a financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and assess risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
