Job Title: Senior Mechanical Sprinkler Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Sprinkler Service Engineer to join our team at Griffin Fire. As a key member of our Sprinkler Department, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing and remedial works of Sprinkler Systems, Fire Hydrants, Fire Hose Reels, and Dry/Wet Risers in accordance with the latest British and EN standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out servicing and remedial works of Sprinkler Systems, Fire Hydrants, Fire Hose Reels, and Dry/Wet Risers on small and large projects across the UK.
  • Undertake Mechanical Servicing and Remedial works of Fire Hydrants, Fire Hose Reels, Fire Risers, and Sprinkler Systems.
  • Forward plan regarding the parts requirements on installation works, placing parts orders, liaising with site management, and coordinating with other trades.
  • Work both independently and as part of the wider Sprinkler Department on installation and service works.
  • Receive field support and training for all disciplines undertaken.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Sprinkler Engineer position or Mechanical pipe installation.
  • Extensive knowledge of both commercial and residential sprinkler systems, ability to carry system changeovers, and competence with fire alarms and all kinds of commercial sprinkler systems.
  • Experience working in the field independently.
  • Full Driving Licence.
