Employment Type: Full-Time - 35 hours per week

We are in search of a Client Support Specialist to become a vital member of our customer engagement team. Our specialists serve as the initial point of contact for our UK Retail and Life Time Mortgage clientele, ensuring that our customers receive the assistance they require with ease and a sense of care. Joining our team means you will be dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience and supporting our clients in achieving positive outcomes during their interactions with us.

This is a full-time, permanent role requiring 35 hours of work each week, from Monday to Friday, with flexible shift patterns, including options from 8:30 to 16:30, 09:00 - 17:00, and 09:30 - 17:30. Initial training will take place in the office, but once you are proficient, the role will allow for a hybrid working arrangement with at least 50% of your time spent on-site.

Key Responsibilities

As a Client Support Specialist, you will be part of a collaborative team handling incoming calls from customers and advisors across our diverse product offerings. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Addressing inquiries from our customers regarding our product range, utilizing a customer-focused approach to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Contacting third parties (such as solicitors, intermediaries, and healthcare providers) to facilitate timely access to income or mortgage funds for our customers.
  • Generating quotes and/or re-quotes over the phone.
  • Executing relevant administrative duties in accordance with established procedures, data entry standards, and industry regulations.
  • Coordinating with various departments to ensure all inquiries are resolved accurately, enhancing the overall customer experience.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers, as well as third-party stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this position, we seek individuals who are customer-centric and prioritize the needs of our clients, along with the following qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a telephonic customer service role.
  • Educational background equivalent to GCSE level, including passing grades in English and Mathematics.
  • Ability to convey complex information in clear, straightforward language, adapting communication styles for various audiences.
  • A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and a readiness to go above and beyond to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
