We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Planning Administrator to join our team at Specialist Recruit. As a key member of our financial services team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our wealth management advisors and paraplanners in delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities and Duties- Pre-sale administration, including data entry and client onboarding, to ensure seamless case progression.
- Prepare and gather information for client meetings, including LOAs and policy information checklists.
- Meeting preparation and presentation to advisors, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Basic report writing, including fund switches, reviews, and new money reports.
- Conduct research using industry tools, such as FE, Defaqto, and Cashcalc, to support client needs.
- Manage new business and review case administration, including submission of applications to providers and manual application forms.
- Maintain client files, ensuring compliance with meeting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist specialist paraplanners with investment strategy administration as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to the team, including covering colleagues' absences.
- Minimum of 12 months to 2 years' experience in a financial planning advisor environment.
- GCSE English and Math's (C or above).
- Understanding of the financial planning process.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Analytical and ability to interpret data.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
