Job Title: Psychology Graduate Support Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Therapeutic Learning Support Assistant at a SEND School in South Barnet, London.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with Anxiety, Depression, SEMH, and high-functioning Autism in a small, therapeutic, and nurturing environment.
  • Engage and support pupils' learning, promoting their emotional regulation and inclusion in learning activities.
  • Develop therapeutic relationships with pupils, understanding their therapy goals and aims.

Requirements:
  • Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND needs is desirable but not essential.
  • Able to de-escalate and support emotional regulation.
  • Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
  • Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 12-39 weeks.
