Job Title: Senior MH Practitioner/Supervisor MHST

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior MH Practitioner/Supervisor to join our Mental Health Services Team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a senior role in our Wave 11 MHST teams, providing clinical leadership and supporting the development of the MHST alongside senior colleagues within the service.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Provide clinical leadership to the MHST team and support the development of the MHST service.
  2. Support the delivery of all interventions within the MHST teams, ensuring the use of evidence-based interventions and a CBT-informed framework.
  3. Work collaboratively with young people, families, and other agencies to promote the emotional and mental health of children and young people in the community.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with schools, ICB, and other community agencies to ensure seamless access to specialist CAMHS and other relevant provision.
  5. Hold a caseload and undertake the role of lead professional for children/young people with mild to moderate mental health problems in educational settings.
  6. Offer specialist support, consultation, and training to staff within the service and other agencies where appropriate.
Requirements:

We are looking for a committed Senior Supervisor/MH Practitioner with a passion for working with children, young people, and their families. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing clinical leadership, supervision, and consultation to MHST teams.

The post holder will need to be flexible, with a clear understanding of THRIVE and how all providers and organizations build on collaborative working with children, young people, and families at the heart of all we do.
