About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Philanthropy Manager to join our Income Generation Directorate at Helen & Douglas House. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a strategic role in developing and delivering major donor fundraising and trust fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of major donor fundraising, including the management and delivery of the Trusts Fundraising programme.
  • Work closely with the Exec Team and service teams to develop and package up projects and future ambitions, in line with the charity's strategy.
  • Maximise donor recruitment, retention, and ultimately lifetime value.
  • Develop and deliver complex income and expenditure budgets, including regular variance reporting and reforecasting.
Person Specification
  • Strong experience in major donor and/or trust fundraising.
  • Experience in developing and delivering business and operational plans.
  • Experience in developing and delivering complex income and expenditure budgets, including regular variance reporting and reforecasting.
  • Experience of liaising with and influencing colleagues at all levels and managing suppliers.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience of using data analysis and supporter insight to support decision making.
  • Experience of Donorflex or other similar relational database.
  • Experience of innovation processes and/or product development.
