About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planner to join our Net Zero Energy Business team at AtkinsRéalis. As a Senior Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, working closely with project managers, delivery teams, and clients to develop and manage project schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to project teams and senior management.
  • Work closely with project managers and delivery teams to gather progress and information from project teams, clients, and suppliers to facilitate accurate schedule updates.
  • Carry out live schedule updates, modifications, and what-if scenarios during meetings, ensuring that project teams and clients are informed and aligned.
  • Report to project teams, senior management, and clients, providing regular updates on project progress and performance.
  • Develop, enhance, and implement project controls tools and processes, ensuring that they are aligned with industry best practices and company standards.
  • Line manage and oversee the development of junior colleagues, providing guidance and support to ensure their success in their roles.
Requirements
  • Minimum of HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline or relevant experience.
  • Exhibits a good engineering mind and has relevant industry experience in the Power and/or Oil and Gas sector.
  • Understanding of project lifecycle.
  • High level of competency in Primavera P6.
  • Experience of working with Earned Value Analysis.
