Job Description

Job Title: Community Hub Leader

Job Summary:

Oasis Trust is seeking an experienced Community Hub Leader to lead the development of our community hub in North Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic oversight of the hub charity, ensuring the youth and community work supports the work of the academies, working alongside other local Oasis leaders to develop one joined up local vision for the Hub.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of the Hub, based in the Lawrence Weston area of Bristol, supporting the Oasis Academies and wider local community.
  • Hold the vision of integrated community delivery, which will include a range of services such as family support, volunteering, youth mentoring, deliver a food pantry, community events and a toddler group.
  • Be responsible for strategic oversight of the hub charity, ensuring the youth and community work supports the work of the academies.
  • Work alongside other local Oasis leaders, such as Principals, to develop one joined up local vision for the Hub.
  • Develop and grow the charity and local community movement through fundraising and business development.
  • Manage projects and budgets, and have a deep understanding of community work.

Requirements:

  • Experience in community leadership and project management.
  • Ability to develop and grow a charity and local community movement.
  • Strong understanding of community work and youth development.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
