Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Waste Management Officer to join our team at Stirling Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance to the Team Leader and Service Manager on projects, internal and external communications, and other related work to enable delivery of current and new recycling services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of waste education and awareness projects within the local authority setting.
  • Provide support to the Team Leader and Service Manager on projects and initiatives related to waste management and recycling.
  • Contribute to the development of internal and external communications, including reports, presentations, and other materials.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education to HND/SVQ level or equivalent experience.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Direct experience of implementing waste education and awareness projects within a local authority setting (desirable).
  • Geographical knowledge of the Stirling Council area (desirable).
