SEN Tutor - Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Tutor/Teaching Assistant to join our team at a forward-thinking Primary School in the Borough of Greenwich. As a SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a 1:1 and group setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children with SEN, including Autism (ASD), Dyslexia, ADHD, and behavioral difficulties
  • Working alongside a range of professionals, including therapists, counselors, and SEN Teachers
  • Attending weekly training sessions to develop your skills and knowledge
  • Collaborating with the SENCo to develop and implement individualized learning plans

Requirements:

  • Degree from a reputable University
  • Strong understanding of SEN and experience working with children with SEN
  • Outgoing, forward-thinking, and creative personality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
