Job Title: SEN Tutor

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom or educational setting.

Job Type:

This is a temporary, part-time position with flexible hours, offering the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans for each student, assessing their progress and adjusting teaching methods accordingly.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students, keeping accurate records of student performance and progress.
  • Provide tailored support and guidance to students with SEN, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
Requirements:
  • Valid DBS check
  • Teaching qualification or relevant experience
  • Experience working with students with SEN
Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field.

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience working as a SEN tutor or in a similar role.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of SEN practices and policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
