We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Independent Panel Members, supporting the Mayor of London in making key appointments to statutory boards and functional bodies.

About the Role

As an Independent Panel Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the appointment process is fair, open, and transparent. You will work closely with the Mayor's office and other stakeholders to identify and appoint talented individuals who reflect the diversity of London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide independent judgement and expertise in public appointments
  • Support the Mayor's office in identifying and appointing talented individuals
  • Ensure the appointment process is fair, open, and transparent
  • Work closely with stakeholders to promote diversity and inclusion in public appointments

Requirements

We are looking for experienced professionals with a strong track record in public sector governance, public appointments, and diversity and inclusion. You will have a deep understanding of the complexities of public appointments and the ability to operate in a complex political environment.
