We are seeking experienced individuals to join our team as independent panel members, supporting the Mayor of London in making appointments to statutory boards and other positions.

As an independent panel member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the appointment process is fair, open, and transparent. You will work closely with the Mayor's office and other stakeholders to identify and appoint talented individuals who reflect the diversity of London.

We are looking for individuals with senior experience of high-profile public-sector organisations or public appointments at executive/senior management level. You will need to be able to operate in a complex political environment, upholding standards and providing sound independent judgement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Mayor in making appointments to statutory boards and other positions
  • Ensure the appointment process is fair, open, and transparent
  • Work closely with the Mayor's office and other stakeholders to identify and appoint talented individuals
  • Provide sound independent judgement and uphold standards in a complex political environment
