We are seeking experienced individuals to join our team as independent panel members to support Mayoral board appointments. As an independent panel member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the appointment process is fair, open, and transparent.

About the Role

The Greater London Authority is looking for a number of people to act as independent panel members to support Mayoral board appointments. The Mayor of London makes a wide range of appointments to statutory boards, functional bodies, advisory commissions, and other positions. These are key appointments to boards whose decisions touch the lives of people across London.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide independent judgement and expertise to support Mayoral board appointments.
  2. Ensure the appointment process is fair, open, and transparent.
  3. Work in a complex political environment, upholding standards and promoting diversity in public appointments.
Requirements

We are seeking suitably qualified individuals who have senior experience of high-profile public-sector organisations or public appointments at executive/senior management level. You must be able to operate in a complex political environment, upholding standards and providing sound independent judgement.
