We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Performance Coach to join our team at The FA. As a key member of our Pathway Physical Performance team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical performance support to our England Men's teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement physical performance strategies to enhance player performance and reduce injury risk.
- Work closely with coaches, physiotherapists, and other support staff to deliver integrated physical performance support.
- Conduct player assessments and develop personalized training plans to optimize player performance.
- Collaborate with the Lead PPC to deliver the physical performance strategy for the England Men's pathway.
- Embed a process of plan-do-review to drive learning and development within the team.
- Excellent coaching skills and extensive experience as a team PPC in elite sport.
- Extensive experience within Professional Football Academy settings.
- Track record of successfully integrating into established and developing medical and performance teams.
- Strategic & operational leadership within a physical performance department.
- Relevant physical performance accreditation (BASES/NSCA/UKSCA/ASCA).
- Under-graduate qualifications in sports performance related field.
