Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Protective Services Regional Manager - Event Security Specialist to join our team at Bank of America. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our employees, clients, and guests at major events and conferences.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive security plans for each event, including risk assessments, security staffing requirements, and emergency response strategies.
- Select, train, and supervise security personnel to ensure they are fully briefed on their responsibilities and the specifics of each event.
- Work closely with local law enforcement, emergency services, and private security firms to ensure a coordinated approach to event security.
- Ensure all security activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements and stay updated with the latest in security technology and procedures to enhance safety measures.
- Serve as the primary contact for all security-related incidents and lead the resolution with minimal disruption to the event.
- Experience in a Close Protection, Major Events Security role or similar.
- Deep knowledge of security planning, protocols, and vetting procedures.
- Experienced in Crisis Management.
- Ability to analyse threats and plan appropriately.
- Solid stakeholder management capabilities, including working closely with law enforcement and other agencies.
- Ability to lead and direct a team.
- Critical thinking, and the ability to respond quickly and appropriately to situations.
- Experienced in analysing and responding to business cases.
- Solid understanding of legal and regulatory requirements and best practices related to security activities.
