About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Operations Manager to join our team at Armstrong Knight. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to our clients in the music and entertainment sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records for a portfolio of clients, including royalty accounts, sales invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including royalty statements, VAT Returns, and EC sales lists.
  • Provide expert analysis and advice on financial matters, including contract review and royalty payments.
  • Develop and implement effective financial management systems to ensure timely and accurate payment of royalties to clients.
  • Collaborate with clients and suppliers to resolve financial queries and issues.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to clients, including cash flow reports and forecasting.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of client financial transactions, including tour accounting and tax compliance.
  • Provide exceptional client service, responding to client queries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a financial management or business operations role, preferably in the music and entertainment sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of financial software packages, including QuickBooks and Xero.
  • AAT qualified or equivalent experience in bookkeeping and financial management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
