Position Title:
Youth Care Specialist - Children's Residential Facility

Compensation:
Competitive salary up to £27,000 annually (including overnight shifts)

Your role will be essential in delivering daily support to our young residents, assisting them in various activities, educational pursuits, and official meetings.

As part of a committed and compassionate team, you will ensure that the facility is upheld to the highest standards, which includes responsibilities such as meal preparation, cleanliness, and safeguarding the well-being of our young residents at all times.


Primary Duties:
1. Assist young individuals in engaging in activities, educational programs, and official meetings.
2. Collaborate with a team to uphold the facility's standards.
3. Ensure the safety and well-being of young residents.
4. Participate in household responsibilities, including meal preparation and cleaning.

Candidate Profile:
1. Proficient in both written and spoken English for documentation and reporting.
2. Basic mathematical skills.
3. Experience working with adolescents aged 12 to 17 exhibiting challenging behaviors.
4. Strong teamwork abilities and the capacity to organize and coordinate activities.
5. Understanding of the challenges faced by children and adolescents.
6. Awareness of the effects of abuse and oppression on young individuals.
7. Commitment to treating all individuals with dignity and respect.
