ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Support Worker, you will be a vital part of our team. By understanding the unique needs of those you support, you will deliver exceptional care that can significantly enhance their quality of life. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Facilitating engagement in meaningful activities and opportunities, empowering individuals to enjoy a rich and fulfilling life.
• Participating in community support through social activities and outings.
• Communicating effectively to meet individual communication needs and assisting others in expressing themselves.
• Providing assistance with personal care and hygiene as needed.
• Administering medication when required.
• Aiding in meal preparation, cooking, cleaning, shopping, and planning daily activities.
• Supporting individuals in attending medical appointments.
• Encouraging participation in social activities.
FLEXIBLE WORKING HOURS
We offer flexible shifts for this position, with a commitment of 20 hours per week across multiple services.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in supporting individuals with complex needs.
- A willingness to learn and grow in the role.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility in working hours.
- A valid driver's license.
- Strong communication skills.
