Job Title: Children's Residential Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Children's Residential Team Leader to join our team at CareTech Group. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and development of our young people.

About the Role:

As a Children's Residential Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of support workers in providing high-quality care and support to our young people. You will work closely with our management team to ensure the smooth running of the shift, assign tasks to support workers, and monitor their completion. You will also support our children to maintain and develop relationships with friends and family, encourage them to integrate with the local community, and support them in all aspects of their daily living.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of support workers in providing high-quality care and support to our young people
  • Work closely with management to ensure the smooth running of the shift
  • Assign tasks to support workers and monitor their completion
  • Support our children to maintain and develop relationships with friends and family
  • Encourage our children to integrate with the local community
  • Support our children in all aspects of their daily living
Requirements:
  • Level 3 in Children's Residential Care
  • Minimum of 2 years working in a residential setting
  • Minimum of 1 year experience of leading a team
  • Full UK driving licence (manual)
  • Able to work long days and complete sleep-ins
