About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at CareTech Group. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to children and young people with complex needs.

Your primary responsibility will be to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our service users. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring that each individual receives tailored support to meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to children and young people, including assistance with daily living tasks, education, and leisure activities.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring that each person's needs are met and their goals are achieved.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of care strategies and policies.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and educators, to ensure comprehensive support for our service users.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children and young people with complex needs, preferably in a residential care setting.
  • Ability to work long day shifts, including sleep-ins, and participate in rotating shifts.
  • Manual UK driving license required for use of company vehicles.
  • Desirable: Children's Residential Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
