School Effectiveness Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a School Effectiveness Partner.
About the RoleThis is a fixed-term, full-time opportunity for 24 months, offering a competitive salary of £60,896 to £71,643 per annum.
As a School Effectiveness Partner, you will play a critical role in empowering school leaders to deliver high-quality provision for all pupils, particularly those with disadvantages and special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the principal link between the local authority and school partnerships, contributing to school improvement across Essex.
- Support the maturity of school partnerships, sharing expertise and enhancing learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with Early Years settings, schools, and educational providers to identify areas for improvement and provide support for pupils.
- Contribute to a robust system of monitoring school performance, measuring the effectiveness of schools and offering advice and guidance.
- Represent the Director of Education at Headteacher appointments and Ofsted feedback.
- Challenging schools to ensure safeguarding procedures meet statutory requirements.
- Providing intensive targeted school improvement support to underperforming schools.
- Promoting and delivering traded services with schools, considering commercial opportunities to achieve income generation targets.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience at school senior leadership level, preferably as a Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher.
- Continuing professional development and expert knowledge of the legislative framework in education.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to focus on results and forge a strong team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence strategically and corporately.
- Proven track record of using professional expertise to deliver strategic objectives and expected outcomes.
- Experience, knowledge, and understanding of school practice and management of provision for pupils with diverse education needs.
- Effective experience of partnership and inter-agency working, including academy sponsors and Free Schools.
- Experience of effective analysis and management of data to support service evaluation and planning.
