Position: Policy and Standards Engagement Lead

Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 + 5% bonus

Location: Flexible remote working with occasional office presence

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Policy and Standards Engagement Lead to become a part of Robert Walters as a Workforce Consultant.

As a Workforce Consultant, you will enjoy the benefits of permanent employment with Robert Walters while being deployed on interim or project assignments within client organizations. This role offers a unique chance to enhance your skills through continuous training and professional certifications.

An exciting role has emerged for a Policy and External Data Standards Lead to collaborate with a leading financial regulatory organization on their Transforming Data Collection Programme, aimed at enhancing the data submission process from firms for regulatory compliance.

This pivotal position is within a team dedicated to improving the experience for Financial Services firms and internal stakeholders.

Approximately 50,000 firms provide data to this organization, primarily through online regulatory reporting forms.

You will engage closely with both the business and external stakeholders to deliver updates and insights regarding the Transforming Data Collection programme, ensuring that stakeholders understand how the programme can support them and how changes may affect their operations. Your relationships will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of current and future TDC workstreams.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in Supervision and Policy areas to communicate TDC progress and integrate requirements into existing and future workstreams.
  • Engage with external firms and stakeholders to effectively communicate project aims and gather valuable insights and feedback for integration into designs and deliverables.
  • Represent the organization at external events and engage with industry and regulatory partners.

Essential Skills:
  • Proven experience in engaging with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
  • Ability to articulate and deliver both verbal and written communications regarding project progress.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to engage, motivate, and influence a diverse audience.
  • Understanding of engagement strategies and facilitating effective knowledge sharing across workstreams.
  • Experience in engaging stakeholders in both remote and in-person settings.
  • Proficient in organizing and facilitating both face-to-face and online events, capturing key points, minutes, and actions with precision.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively and independently to scope and deliver projects.

Desirable Skills:
  • Familiarity with financial services or regulatory environments.
  • Experience in agile delivery settings, adapting products and initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
