Job Title: Head of Sales

Spitfire Audio is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Sales to lead our e-commerce efforts and drive growth across all digital sales channels.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and executing a robust e-commerce sales strategy, leading a high-performing team, and optimising the customer experience to maximise revenue. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive revenue, acquire new customers, and increase conversion rates and customer lifetime value.
  • Managing and mentoring a multi-disciplinary team, including sales, business intelligence, data analysis, and CRM experts.
  • Collaborating closely with marketing, social media, and digital advertising teams to plan and execute effective product launches and campaigns that drive traffic and increase sales.
  • Partnering with the web team to continually improve website performance, enhance the customer journey through personalisation and merchandising, and track key site metrics.
  • Identifying, negotiating, and maintaining relationships with third-party SaaS providers to enhance the e-commerce experience, drive sales, and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 6 years of e-commerce experience, with a proven track record of driving online sales and managing a high-performing team.
  • A sales-focused mindset, with a deep understanding of key e-commerce metrics and their impact on overall business performance.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a solid understanding of data reporting tools and financial performance metrics.
  • Experience in managing the technical and operational aspects of a website, with a focus on optimising the user experience and increasing conversions.
  • CRM and digital marketing knowledge, with a strong familiarity with CRM strategies, digital marketing, and social media as levers for e-commerce growth.
