Role Summary:

As an Electrical and Mechanical Repair Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing a variety of electrical and mechanical systems. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine and preventive maintenance, as well as repairs on our facilities, vehicles, and all production machinery, including advanced equipment such as Lasers and CNC machines. You will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to our commitment to quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance of all structures, machinery, and equipment to guarantee safety and functionality.
  • Execute repairs and maintenance on production machinery, jigs, and fixtures to uphold high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Mechanical and Electrical Contractors on-site, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Create and refine work procedures and standards for both electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Address machinery breakdowns promptly and document production issues for future reference.
  • Assist the Technical Resources Services Department with the installation of new equipment, providing expertise and support.

Required Skills and Experience:

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Strong electrical background complemented by mechanical knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of handling sensitive situations with professionalism.
  • Familiarity with machine shop equipment and production support functions.
  • Proven experience in maintaining processes, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities to quickly identify and resolve production-related issues.
  • Capacity to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong decision-making skills and accountability for actions taken.

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Working Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Overtime Compensation: 1.5x for Saturday and 2x for Sunday
