About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join our team at Koura, a leading company in the field of medical devices and propellants. As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for leading customer technical support activities for our Pharma-regulated propellants used in complex medical device applications.

Main Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain and develop Koura's expertise in respiratory drug delivery technology to support customers and inform our product and business strategy.
  • Customer Support: Support and enable customer adoption and use of our medical propellant portfolio through problem-solving, confidence-building, and relationship management with key decision-makers in Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) production companies.
  • Industry Representation: Represent Koura at regional and global conferences and trade shows to promote our products and services.
  • Marketing and Communication: Ensure that marketing literature and other communication processes are up-to-date and correct, and work with the marketing department to develop and exploit new materials when possible.
  • Customer Interactions: Lead customer technical interactions for the medical propellant portfolio.
  • Relationship Building: Build positive relationships with key MDI customers in all regions.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's Degree/PhD in a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of GMP and Pharma business processes, management in regulated companies within cGMP environments, and ability to lead and motivate a technical customer service team.
  • Skills: Technical background in MDIs or other Pharma devices, knowledge of all aspects of handling pressurized gases, application and significance of propellant to MDI devices, detailed understanding of MDI production technologies, technical problem-solving, broad understanding of QC, QA, technical, and engineering in MDI, planning and organizing skills, strong troubleshooting skills, and excellent communication skills.
