Wanstor, a multi-award-winning IT service provider, is seeking a skilled 2nd Line Support Technician to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our support team, you will provide exceptional technical expertise to our prestigious client, Daylesford Farm, part of the Bamford Collection Group, based in the scenic Cotswolds countryside.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on and remote troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve complex IT issues escalated from our London-based service desk.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their technical concerns, providing clear and friendly communication throughout the support process to build strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to escalate and resolve challenging technical issues, while actively contributing insights and ideas to improve support processes and efficiency.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends through training and self-study, continuously expanding technical knowledge and skills to enhance support capabilities and career growth.

About You:

  • Experience providing technical support at a 2nd line level or at a 1st line level demonstrating your readiness for more.
  • Experience of Microsoft server operating systems and technologies, user management through AD.
  • Knowledge of ITIL, incident, problem, and change management.
  • Ability to understand and operate to the standards of Cyber Essentials for IT Security.
  • A degree in an IT-related field or comparable technical certifications are advantageous.
