As a MEP Senior Cost Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting our Developer, Occupier, Governmental, Health, Education, and Tech clients to deliver complex projects and challenging programs.

Your responsibilities will include leading on the MEP specific deliverables within a larger project or leading direct MEP commissions, such as asset upgrade works. You'll establish early budgets, estimate, and cost plan, manage a design team to the budget, tender, and procure, and post-contract report to the client.

A good knowledge of MEP systems and supply chain is essential, with the ability to work collaboratively but robustly with main contractors and their MEP supply chain.

Key accountabilities include commission management, estimating and cost planning, tendering and procurement, post-contract cost variances, and change control processes. You'll also be responsible for making cost checks, carrying out valuations, producing monthly post-contract cost reports, and negotiating and agreeing final accounts.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle. You'll be professionally qualified (RICS or similar) or working towards it, with a degree or HNC level qualification.

You'll also need to be commercially astute, with good negotiation skills, and an excellent people person and great communicator, both client-facing and team-based.
