French Speaking Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled French Speaking Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Ascendant Recruitment. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective supply chain management tools are in place for key strategic suppliers across the network.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage carrier relationships and ensure timely escalation of issues.
- Lead new carrier implementation projects and assist in their development.
- Conduct regular carrier reviews and develop supplier SLAs.
- Implement and manage KPIs to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Support contract renewals and renegotiations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure best-fit suppliers for business needs.
- Present KPI packs and demonstrate carrier adherence.
- Support sustainable supply-chain initiatives.
- Operate a zero-tolerance approach to non-conformance.
- Coordinate insurance claims management.
- Ensure quality and compliance requirements are upheld by carrier partners.
- Develop and deploy best practices across carrier networks.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in French and English.
- Knowledge of effective customer and supplier relationship management principles.
- Understanding of complex distribution networks and European road freight experience.
- Procurement principles and levers knowledge.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with a strong customer focus.
- Adaptability and problem-solving mindset.
- Solid data analysis skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms.
