Supply Chain Planner Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team at our manufacturing site in Northamptonshire. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient planning and execution of production orders to meet internal and external customer service expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Planning: Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with the production plan, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to meet customer demands.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain optimal levels of raw materials, bases, and solutions to support production needs.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Review and analyze customer stock holding and finished product stock to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration, involving and developing team members to achieve common goals.
  • System Support: Assist colleagues in optimizing AX, a key system used to maximize its functions and support business operations.
  • Sample Management: Manage samples to and from IH, domestic direct customer deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 to 5 years' experience in FMCG in a similar role.
  • High attention to detail and proven problem-solving skills to ensure production plans are successfully achieved on time.
  • Understanding of the supply chain process and ability to apply knowledge and experience to provide innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Computer literate and skilled in using Office 365, with a reliable knowledge and experience working on AX.
  • Well-developed ability in planning and organizing, with a fast development building knowledge and experience of the products we work with.
  • Good people engagement ability and ability to apply knowledge and experience when required to provide innovative solutions to complex problems.
