Job Title: Supply Chain Planner

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team at Macildowie Recruitment and Retention. As a Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering supply chain objectives, including supply planning, procurement, and co-packing, to meet stock holding targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure orders are shipped correctly and on time to achieve continuity of supply of products, ensuring 99% stock availability.
  • Partner with fellow Supply Chain Planners and Coordinators to procure, transfer, and produce to plan in a timely manner in line with co-manufacturing plans.
  • Collaborate with third-party co-packing sites to monitor/track plans and output to ensure the business is meeting stock holding targets required.
  • Manage the planning and ordering processes, ensuring minimum order quantity, stock levels, and delivery dates are all achieved.
  • Continuously monitor stock holding and planning cycles within your portfolio, working with the wider business to ensure no residual inventory.
  • Track and manage supplier performance through regular reviews.
  • Monitor and check outstanding orders, ensuring all orders are updated and there are no overdue orders.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable building working relationships with internal colleagues and external suppliers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • A previous background in operations planning and coordination.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience within FMCG, specifically the Food and Beverage Industry, is desirable.
  • Microsoft Dynamic Business Central or SlimStock/Slim 4 experience is desirable.
  • Experience of Supply and/or Demand planning within a Supply Chain or Inventory Management role is desirable.
